MEDICAL ASSISTANT – BACK OFFICE / RESEARCH ASSISTANT • Back Office Medical Assistant for a private practice Research Department • Located in the Mission Village area (Just north of Mission Valley) • Responsible for rooming patients, vital signs, blood draws, EKG’s and other clinical tests; assisting the Research Coordinators with patient office visits. Will also assist with phones, screening calls, and some data entry. • The employer is willing to provide some on the job training. • This is a full time permanent position. Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Must be available to start at 6:30 am occasionally as needed. An occasional weekend shift may be required. • The rate of pay is $13.00 – 14.00hr. to start.
